Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 03, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application El Metrónomo (hereinafter, the "Application"), created by JJIMdev (hereinafter, the "Service Provider") as a free service with an optional in-app purchase. This service is provided on an "AS IS" basis.

Information Collection and Use

The Application does not operate its own servers nor does it centrally store personal data from its users. However, integrated automated third-party tools may log technical usage information from the device when the Application is downloaded and used. Such information may include:

  • Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address).
  • The sections of the Application you visit, the date and time of your visit, and the time spent in those sections.
  • The total time spent on the Application.
  • The operating system used on your mobile device.

The Application does not directly collect personally identifiable information or precise geographical location data from the device. However, certain integrated third-party services may process technical information necessary to deliver their features, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

In-App Purchases (PRO Version)

The Application offers the option to purchase a PRO version via in-app purchase. The entire payment, billing, and financial management process is handled exclusively by Google Play Commerce. The Service Provider does not access, collect, process, or store credit card information, bank accounts, or any other payment data of the user.

Only the technical tokens and identifiers strictly necessary to verify the license status of the purchase and enable the corresponding PRO features on the device are processed locally via Google Play APIs.

Use of Storage Services and Google Drive

The Application allows users to back up and manage their generated files (such as metronome settings or program configurations). To do so, the user may link their Google Drive account or use the device's file picker to access local directories or other cloud services. Access occurs exclusively through direct user action to select, save, or restore their own files, ensuring the portability and security of their information.

Upon activating backups, the Application may visually display the linked account email within its local interface for the sole purpose of informing the user, without the Service Provider having remote access to, storing, or transmitting said email to external servers, whether proprietary or third-party. Likewise, in the free version of the Application, integrated advertising tools may require the Advertising ID and technical device identifiers. This technical information is managed by the services integrated into the device where the application is installed, without the Service Provider having access to, storing, or transmitting this information on proprietary servers. Its processing and retention will be conducted in accordance with the privacy policies of the external service providers used by the Application.

Third-Party Access

Third-party services integrated into the Application may process technical information required to deliver their functionalities, in accordance with their respective privacy policies. The Service Provider does not receive or store this information on proprietary servers.

Please note that the Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies regarding data processing. Below are the links to the privacy policies of the external service providers used by the Application:

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider does not store data on proprietary servers; therefore, all operational configurations are immediately erased upon uninstalling the Application from the device. Technical data automatically processed by third-party services will be retained for the period strictly necessary as deemed appropriate by those services to guarantee the provision of their functionalities and in accordance with their respective retention policies. If you have any inquiries, you may contact us at jjim.contact@gmail.com.

Protection of Minors

In accordance with international data protection regulations (including, but not limited to, the GDPR, COPPA, the DSA, and other child protection regulations compatible with the services used by the Application), the Application applies the principle of Privacy by Default for any user who is a minor.

The Application checks, when available, age signals provided by Google Play. When age signals provided by Google Play indicate so, the Application will automatically apply the protection measures designated for minor users (up to 17 years of age inclusive):

  • Tracking and Personalization Blocking: The Application requests integrated advertising services to omit profile tracking and disable personalized ads.

  • Age-Appropriate Advertising Content:

    • Children under 13 years old: The maximum level of child protection (COPPA) is applied, limiting advertising to content suitable for general audiences (Category G / General).

    • Teens aged 13 to 15: Non-personalized ads filtered for supervised teen audiences (Category PG).

    • Teens aged 16 to 17: Non-personalized ads appropriate for their age range with teen content filters (Category T / Teen).

Age information is not accessible from outside the Application, nor is it sent or shared by it. It is solely processed locally at runtime for the sole purpose of adapting the ad system operation to comply with applicable legislation in the relevant territory and providing users with an appropriate experience tailored to their age.

If you are a parent or legal guardian and have any questions or concerns regarding the technical processing applied on the device of a minor in your care, you may contact us at jjim.contact@gmail.com.

Privacy and Ad Controls

In accordance with applicable privacy regulations (such as the GDPR in Europe and various state privacy laws), the Application includes integrated tools allowing adult users in jurisdictions with specific regulations to manage their consent. In such cases, adult users can review and modify their privacy preferences and the use of advertising identifiers at any time via the "Ad Options" button available in the Application's Settings screen. Where required by applicable law, this form will also be displayed automatically upon launching the Application for the first time.

In the case of users identified as minors through signals provided by Google Play, the consent request form will not be presented, as protection measures for minors and the delivery of non-personalized ads are applied automatically.

Opt-Out Rights

You can easily stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Although no data is maintained on proprietary servers, we endeavor to use recognized service providers, such as Google, that implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect the information they process.

Modifications

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. The Service Provider will notify any changes by updating this page. You are advised to consult this Policy regularly, as continued use of the Application deemed acceptance of all changes. This Privacy Policy is effective as of August 03, 2026.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you acknowledge having read this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires your consent for specific data processing, it will be requested through mechanisms integrated into the Application before such processing takes place.
